Hannah was proud to be part of the MacBride clan. She loved her family, their land and her lavender.
When she found a love she'd wished for all her life on a trip to Paris she thought she had it all. But hidden circumstances separated them leaving her back home with an unexpected reminder of her brief love affair.
When Ash shows up on their ranch she is torn between wanting to share all her joy with him and afraid to trust him to love her, not just their child.

I hadn't read the first book in this series before starting this one, however, that was not a problem. It reads well as a stand-alone. It was engaging and the characters were easy to get to know and to like. The closeness of the MacBrides family was endearing, and the way they rallied around and supported (not to mention protected) each other reminded me of my own family. It was very easy to fall into their world and to imagine the story as it flowed. Hannah is sweet and Ash is charming, it was fun to watch their story play out. This story does get a bit heated but is not erotic or excessively descriptive. I don't recall there being any language to watch out for either. Just an enjoyable easy read, fun romance, and overall great book!
She finds inspiration in her adopted state of Colorado and her belief love is the most powerful, positive emotion we can experience.
Thank you Rebecca for the kind review and taking the time to read my story.
