Blood Prophecy - Queen's Destiny Book Tour

I was really excited to feature this book today! I have heard nothing but good things from those who have reviewed it and I'm so pleased to welcome and feature Author Barb Jones here on my blog!

Let's get to know her!

Author Bio:

Having been born and raised in Hawaii, I loved telling stories ever since I was a child about vampires, werewolves, angels, demons, and witches. I was a little girl who loved scary stories, much to my mother's dismay. The scarier - the better. Hawaii was a perfect place for stories until I moved to Seattle. I decided to turn a love for the supernatural into writing stories to see if others would love them as much as I do. Currently, I live in Florida but since I'm a Seattle girl at heart, my stories take place in the Northwest. I continue to write supernatural stories of vampires, werewolves, witches, and more while enjoying the beaches and sunshine. I also love to help others and give back to my community.

Author Bio:

A Louisiana native and have had the wonderful opportunity of living in various states during my husband's 20-year career in the United States Coast Guard.
I have been happily married for over twenty years and am the proud mother of two wonderful children. My youngest encouraged me to begin writing this year.
Until my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2001, I worked in the Legal Field. Writing is great therapy for my own personal fight against MS.

Interview:
I had the privilege of interviewing Mary and found some fun facts about her that I want to share with you guys:

How do you spend your free time?
I spend my free time reading.  I am a book fanatic.

What kind of music do you listen to while you write?
I listen to all genres of music, but, when writing, I normally listen to pop.

What is your favorite part of writing?
Coming up with the characters.  I have an outline for each character.  My daughter and I will even take the time to find outfits that would suit that character.

Most embarrassing moment?
That is such a hard thing to choose.  I am the world’s biggest klutz.  I have fallen in public more times than I care to admit, but still I pick myself up off the ground and keep walking.

Something unique about you?
I love to create different Halloween props.

All-time favorite book?
Interview with a Vampire

Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?
My daughter is the person who inspired me to write. As my Multiple Sclerosis progressed and I was forced to stay at home more, I guess I was driving them nuts.  So, she talked her dad into getting me a laptop and it went from there.

Do you have any advice for other writers?
Never give up and don’t be afraid to let your imagination run free.

NOW FOR THE BOOK!!
