I adored this book!!
I love the modern twist on My Fair Lady in My Fair Lacey - plus I liked the ending of this much better than the movie ending. I truly enjoyed the banter between the characters and the growth in their relationship even though it was a novella. The same goes for the second book too - A Perfect Fit. Janette did an incredible job of creating witty dialog and sweet moments as the characters learn and grow together in both stories. I laughed out loud several times during each novella - plus felt the frustration, confusion, and even moments of sadness with each character. They were so real and so relatable, and I adored them.
The stories are connected in that they have the same characters, but the focus in on different couples each time. And the Epilogue was perfect! And not in the way you think of all dreamy and swoony, but perfect for the characters and their situations. I will absolutely read this book again and again. I highly recommend this book. It is clean, fun, and a fabulous quick summer read!!

Janette Rallison is old. Don’t ask how old, because it isn’t polite. Let’s just say she’s older than she’d like to be and leave it at that.
Janette lives in Chandler, Arizona with her husband, five children and enough cats to classify her as “an eccentric cat lady.” She did not do this on purpose. (The cats, that is; she had the children on purpose.) Every single one of the felines showed up on its own and refuses to leave. Not even the family’s fearless little Westie dog can drive them off.
Since Janette has five children and deadlines to write books, she doesn’t have much time left over for hobbies. But since this is the internet and you can’t actually check up to see if anything on this site is true, let’s just say she enjoys dancing, scuba diving, horse back riding and long talks with Orlando Bloom. (Well, I never said he answers back.)
